Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload refrigerated trucks and trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Use handheld scanners to accurately verify stock counts and maintain inventory records.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Temperature Control: Work efficiently in extreme cold environments (30°F or below) while maintaining high productivity.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections of warehouse equipment and report any maintenance needs immediately.
- Organization: Keep storage aisles organized and clean to prevent spoilage and ensure efficient retrieval.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit to stand for long shifts and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Environment: Ability to work in freezing conditions and wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to read labels and barcodes accurately.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Documentation: Must have a valid ID and be authorized to work in the United States.
