Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload refrigerated trailers, ensuring product integrity and security.
- Monitor and record temperature logs to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Perform daily cleaning and organization of freezer and cool-storage areas.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in inventory management and stock rotation (First-In, First-Out).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in cold storage, warehousing, or logistics is highly preferred.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus but we provide training for qualified candidates.
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (below 40°F) for extended periods.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long durations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Miami facility.
