Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper organization of stock in cold storage units.
- Monitor temperature logs and ensure compliance with food safety and safety regulations.
- Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of work areas to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations as needed.
- Follow all company safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (temperatures as low as -10°F).
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is a plus but not required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
- Forklift certification (will train the right candidate).
