Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move palletized goods within the freezer and cooler environments safely and efficiently.
- Monitor and accurately record temperature logs to ensure product integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records using handheld scanners.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety protocols.
- Adhere to strict personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements and facility safety rules.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (-10°F to 40°F) for extended shifts.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory verification.
- Must be available for flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
