As a Cold Storage Worker, you will play a critical role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that temperature-sensitive goods are handled with the utmost care. We provide all necessary PPE and training to keep you safe and productive in our state-of-the-art facilities.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and conveyors, ensuring accurate handling of inventory.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts (training provided).
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and report discrepancies or damaged goods immediately.
- Temperature Control: Maintain strict adherence to cold storage protocols to preserve product integrity.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate various warehouse machinery and handheld scanning devices.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a cold environment.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on safety and punctuality.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Equipment Certification: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
