Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products within refrigerated (-10°F to 40°F) and frozen (-20°F) environments
- Inspect, sort, and package food products according to quality standards
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA and FDA safety guidelines for cold storage operations
- Perform routine sanitation and cleanliness procedures in storage areas
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
