Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trailers and trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock efficiently.
- Temperature Control: Monitor and maintain cold storage environments to ensure product integrity.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations.
- Housekeeping: Keep the warehouse, docks, and storage areas clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, cold storage, or logistics environment is preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Temperature Tolerance: Must be comfortable working in extreme cold environments (-10°F to 40°F).
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
