Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in cold storage facilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts and stock rotation in cold zones
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols
- Operate cold storage equipment and machinery safely
- Perform sanitation and cleanliness duties in refrigerated areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns immediately
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures below 32°F (0°C) for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and food safety awareness
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
