Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated storage units
- Inspect and organize inventory using FIFO protocols
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment safely
- Conduct daily quality checks on perishable goods
- Adhere to strict food safety and HACCP standards
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs
- Collaborate with warehouse team for efficient loading/unloading
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification a plus
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in sub-freezing temperatures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
