Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and stage pallets of goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual labor techniques.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate cycle counts and maintain precise inventory records within the cold storage environment.
- Temperature Compliance: Monitor storage units to ensure temperature ranges are maintained within safety and product standards.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on warehouse equipment and safety gear.
- Safety Adherence: Strictly follow OSHA safety protocols and company policies to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Organization: Keep storage aisles clear, organized, and compliant with fire safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, and work in extreme cold environments (20°F to 40°F).
- Reliability: A proven track record of punctuality and attendance.
- Communication: Basic English skills to understand safety instructions and communicate with team leads.
- Experience: Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is highly preferred.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
