The Role:
You will play a critical role in our supply chain by ensuring the safe handling and storage of temperature-sensitive goods. We pride ourselves on our safety record and employee retention.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload palletized and bulk shipments from refrigerated trucks and trailers.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move inventory within the freezer and cooler zones.
- Monitor and log temperature conditions to ensure compliance with food safety regulations (FDA/USDA).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock organization to maximize warehouse efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and logistics coordinators regarding shipment status.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly in a cold environment.
- Willingness to work in temperatures as low as 20°F.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
