Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, railcars, or conveyors to ensure timely fulfillment of orders.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues and perform routine maintenance checks before each shift.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize stock to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe workplace.
- Clean work areas and report any facility maintenance issues to management immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift operator certification or license (Class A, B, or C).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and maneuver in tight spaces.
- Basic math skills for accurate inventory counting and stock management.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
