Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks (PIT) to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections on equipment to ensure safety and proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and organizing stock in designated areas.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to streamline workflow and meet daily shipping targets.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
