Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and to delivery vehicles.
- Conduct pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safe and operational condition, reporting any issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock counts using warehouse management systems.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a hazard-free workplace.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and free of debris.
Qualifications
- Required: Valid forklift certification (OSHA compliant) and current license.
- Required: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Preferred: Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
