Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and reach forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper organization of stock using FIFO methods.
- Conduct pre-shift safety inspections of forklifts and reporting any mechanical issues immediately.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of debris at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification (training provided for qualified applicants).
- Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning systems.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
