Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load and unload shipments in a timely manner.
- Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklift equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and document handling procedures accurately.
- Stack and organize pallets in designated storage areas to maximize space utilization.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies at all times.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily production and delivery goals.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution center setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and a post-offer drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills for inventory logging.
