Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Materials: Safely load and unload palletized goods onto and from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory counting and stock organization to ensure accuracy and efficient warehouse flow.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately to maintenance.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and stage orders accurately to meet daily production targets.
- Keep Area Clean: Maintain a tidy and organized work area, including sweeping and organizing aisles.
Qualifications
- License/Certification: Must possess a valid forklift operator certification (we provide training for qualified candidates).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and safety procedures.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and understand work orders and safety signs.
- Background Check: Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work a consistent schedule, including potential overtime.
