Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move materials.
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy in our inventory system.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all packages are labeled and ready for dispatch.
- Warehouse Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to 5S principles and safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks on products and report any damages or discrepancies immediately.
- Documentation: Accurately complete daily logs, reports, and paperwork required for compliance and tracking purposes.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or material handling is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Basic computer literacy and ability to learn inventory management software.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions (dock doors).
- Certifications: Forklift certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety.
