Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and efficient manner according to OSHA standards and company policies.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload shipments from trucks and trailers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Inventory Management: Move pallets and materials to designated storage areas, maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and walk extensively throughout the warehouse.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Basic Math Skills: Ability to read and understand shipping labels and basic inventory counts.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is preferred.
- Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to obtain forklift certification through our training program.
