As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our supply chain operations, ensuring that products are processed, packed, and shipped efficiently to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload shipments from trucks.
- Picking and Packing: Accurately pick items from inventory and package them for shipment using various packaging materials.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and ensuring stock levels are sufficient.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before shipping.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe at all times.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts, reach trucks, and conveyor systems.
- Order Fulfillment: Process customer orders efficiently and meet daily performance targets.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or related fields is preferred.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime if necessary.
- Skills: Basic math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow safety protocols.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for some positions.
- Forklift Certification: Possession of a current forklift certification is a plus.
