Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and transport materials using sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Inventory Management: Verify counts and maintain accurate inventory records during loading and unloading.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and warehouse regulations to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Organization: Keep the warehouse floor organized, clean, and free of debris to maintain operational efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- Licensure: Valid Forklift Operator Certification is a plus; however, we will train qualified candidates.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting and strong attention to detail.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Attitude: A strong commitment to workplace safety and a proactive work ethic.
