Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Verify accuracy of inventory counts during the receiving and shipping processes.
- Perform routine safety inspections on all machinery before and after use.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to 5S standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse workflow and efficiency.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of all stock to prevent damage or loss.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (OSHA 10/30 certification preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Valid Driver's License (Class A or B may be required depending on vehicle type).
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems.
