Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Inventory Accuracy: Assist in the receiving and stocking of inventory, ensuring all items are accurately logged and properly organized.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict OSHA safety standards and company protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine pre-shift inspections on forklifts and other machinery to ensure they are in proper working condition.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping with speed and precision.
- Workspace Organization: Maintain a clean, clutter-free, and organized workspace to facilitate efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods. Must be able to pass a basic physical agility test.
- Background Check: Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (equivalent experience considered).
- Attitude: A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as business needs dictate.
