Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently drive forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials around the warehouse.
- Load and Unload: Load and unload trailers and trucks in a timely manner, ensuring cargo security.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory checks and stock organization to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform daily pre-shift inspections on forklifts to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certification: Forklift certification is required (we provide training for the right candidates).
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on safety and accuracy in handling products.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible shifts including weekends and overtime.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
