Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery (Reach Trucks, Order Pickers) to move, locate, and stack merchandise within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections and safety checks on all equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
- Load and unload trailers, ensuring accurate inventory counts and secure cargo placement.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Keep the work area organized and clean to ensure efficient workflow and safety compliance.
- Assist in inventory management by tagging, labeling, and verifying stock levels.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) license required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver's License preferred.
