Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (reach trucks, pallet jacks) to load and unload shipments safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring aisles are clear and safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Perform daily inventory checks and cycle counts to ensure accuracy in stock management.
- Collaborate with team leads to prioritize work orders and meet daily shipping deadlines.
- Inspect equipment for any mechanical issues and report maintenance needs immediately.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Certification: Forklift Operator Certification is preferred; we will train candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate tight warehouse aisles.
- Skills: Basic math skills for inventory counting; ability to read labels and shipping documents.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable means of transportation and be available for overtime shifts as needed.
- Background: Clean criminal record and drug-free workplace compliant.
