Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure safety and mechanical functionality.
- Verify inventory counts and accurately document stock movements using warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team leads to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.
- Assist in the staging and preparation of shipments for local and regional delivery.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (Class 1, 3, or 4) with valid license.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse scanning devices.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record.
