Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Verify inventory accuracy by scanning barcodes and cross-referencing shipping documents.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections on all forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse floor to prevent accidents and improve efficiency.
- Assist with the packing and shipping process, ensuring all orders are accurate and on time.
- Communicate effectively with team leads regarding inventory levels and workflow bottlenecks.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift certification (we offer paid training for the right candidates).
- Must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and scanning.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
