Responsibilities
- Safely operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure all safety features and mechanical conditions are functioning correctly.
- Organize and maintain inventory by scanning items and ensuring accurate placement in designated storage areas.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely processing of shipments and efficient turnaround times.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners or RF equipment (training provided).
- Physical stamina required to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
