Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery: Safely drive forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Pick and pack orders: Accurately fulfill customer orders by locating and preparing items for shipment.
- Inventory management: Perform regular cycle counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Safety compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse protocols at all times.
- Equipment maintenance: Conduct daily pre-shift inspections and report any equipment malfunctions.
- Team collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and shift managers to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Certification: Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) or willingness to obtain one upon hire.
- Experience: No prior experience required; entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Visual Acuity: Good depth perception and vision (with or without correction).
- Availability: Reliable attendance and flexibility to work varying shifts, including overtime.
