Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Pick items from warehouse shelves using RF scanners or voice-pick technology to ensure 100% order accuracy.
- Packing: Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, bubble wrap, tape) to prevent damage during transit.
- Labeling: Apply shipping labels and barcodes to packages according to company guidelines and carrier requirements.
- Inventory Control: Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies and organizing stock areas.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (after certification), and other material handling equipment.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct final quality checks on packed orders before they are sent to the shipping department.
Qualifications
- No Experience Necessary: We welcome applicants with no prior warehouse experience; we provide all necessary training.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when reading pick lists and scanning barcodes.
- Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable using handheld devices and basic computer terminals.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work well within a team structure.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time shifts including weekends and holidays.
