Responsibilities
- Load and unload trucks and containers safely and efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move products within the facility.
- Inspect equipment for damage or safety hazards before and after use.
- Sort, organize, and stage inventory for shipping or storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counts as required by management.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and OSHA guidelines at all times.
Qualifications
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Ability to operate basic warehouse machinery (forklift certification is a plus but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory handling.
- Basic math skills for weighing and counting items.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license (if required for local driving within the warehouse).
