As a key member of our distribution center, you will ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload products onto and off of trucks, pallets, and shelves using provided material handling equipment.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials efficiently throughout the warehouse.
- Inventory Accuracy: Assist in the counting and verification of stock to ensure inventory records match physical stock.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or defects and report discrepancies immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and warehouse safety protocols at all times.
- Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free workspace to prevent accidents and improve workflow.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and other warehouse staff to meet daily productivity goals.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Equipment Knowledge: Willingness to be trained on forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documentation.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including overtime.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency for reading safety signs and communicating with supervisors.
