Responsibilities
- Order Fulfillment: Sort, scan, and pack customer orders efficiently using handheld scanners and robotics assistance.
- Inventory Management: Move and organize inventory within the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock levels and placement.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts (after certification), and other warehouse equipment as required.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace to prevent accidents.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet Amazon's high standards before shipping.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team leads and coworkers to meet daily productivity goals and targets.
Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, pull, and move up to 49 pounds regularly and stand/walk for long periods.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work in varying environments, including temperature-controlled areas and loading docks.
- Basic Skills: Good reading and comprehension skills to follow safety protocols and operating procedures.
- Availability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (not always required).
