Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end shipping processes including documentation, carrier selection, and customs clearance
- Track shipments in real-time using TMS software and proactively address delivery exceptions
- Optimize freight routes and negotiate contracts with multiple carriers
- Collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure timely loading/unloading of goods
- Maintain accurate shipment records and generate performance reports
- Resolve customs issues and ensure compliance with international trade regulations
- Manage relationships with vendors, customers, and logistics partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years experience in logistics/shipping coordination
- Proficiency in TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS and customs documentation
- Excellent Excel skills with data visualization capabilities
- Ability to manage high-volume shipments under tight deadlines
- Valid Texas driver's license and clean driving record
- Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required
- Supply chain certification (CSCP, CLTD) preferred
