Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight trucks safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Maintain a pristine, sanitary environment within the cold storage facility to comply with health regulations.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock rotation to prevent spoilage.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform physical duties such as standing, walking, bending, and lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs).
- Document daily activities and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to work in extreme cold temperatures (typically -10°F to 40°F).
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
