Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move, load, and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of material movements
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and workplace regulations at all times
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow and productivity
- Assist in receiving, sorting, and staging inventory according to company standards
- Participate in regular safety training and equipment certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations
- Ability to read and interpret inventory documents and shipping labels
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license preferred
