Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and free of hazards to comply with OSHA safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Perform general warehouse duties such as shrink-wrapping and banding pallets.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (Class A, B, or C).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety protocols and warehouse safety procedures.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for logging inventory data.
