Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment (e.g., Reach Truck, Order Picker) safely and efficiently in a 24/7 facility.
- Load, unload, and stage shipments according to strict production schedules and client specifications.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and machinery to ensure operational readiness and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies or damaged goods immediately to the shift lead.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations, warehouse policies, and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize warehouse flow and minimize downtime during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA 10/30 or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM) with a proven track record of reliability.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting and data entry.
- Valid driver's license (Class B preferred) is a plus.
