Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to load, unload, move, store, or count materials within the facility.
- Perform routine safety inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock discrepancies.
- Ensure the warehouse environment is organized, clean, and compliant with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and reduce downtime.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment usage.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (Valid and up-to-date).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory counting.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
