Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., Reach Truck, Counterbalance) to move, locate, and stack merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counting as needed.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies at all times.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator license (must be presentable).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
