Responsibilities
- Safe Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts, stock replenishment, and cycle counts to ensure warehouse accuracy.
- Loading & Unloading: Load and unload trucks and trailers with precision, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company policies; maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Order Fulfillment: Prepare pallets for shipping and ensure all customer orders are dispatched accurately and on time.
- Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine pre-shift inspections of forklifts and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid OSHA forklift operator certification (must be provided).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating counterbalance or reach forklifts.
- License: Valid driver's license required.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to maintain accurate records and follow instructions precisely.
- Availability: Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
