Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence: Direct and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping, to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train warehouse staff, fostering a positive, high-performance culture.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA regulations and company safety protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and implement effective storage strategies to minimize shrinkage.
- Process Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement best practices to improve workflow and reduce waste.
- Shift Coordination: Manage shift schedules and coordinate with management to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak hours.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained and in proper working order.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related logistics field.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software is highly preferred.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification (or willingness to obtain) is mandatory.
- Leadership: Strong track record of leading teams and driving performance metrics.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
