Responsibilities
- Operate Material Handling Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery to move inventory.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate stock counts, cycle counts, and maintain inventory records using RF scanners.
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing cargo.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and report any issues immediately.
- Maintain Safety Standards: Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines to maintain a zero-accident work environment.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep storage areas clean, organized, and optimized for efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- Forklift Certification: Current forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to track inventory and identify errors.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
