Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a temperature-controlled warehouse environment
- Load/unload freight containers and trailers using pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and documentation in WMS systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company protocols at all times
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
- Support warehouse cleanup and organization initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in cold environments (32°F)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Valid Alaska driver's license
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Preferred experience in cold storage or food handling facilities
