Responsibilities
- Lead daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment with 99% accuracy
- Manage 12-person team through performance coaching, scheduling, and safety training
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS technology to minimize shrinkage
- Ensure strict compliance with FDA/USDA cold chain protocols and OSHA standards
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and quality teams
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
- Conduct monthly safety audits and equipment maintenance reviews
Qualifications
- 5+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in cold chain or logistics
- OSHA 30-hour certification and HACCP training preferred
- Advanced proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and heavy equipment operation experience
- Proven track record in team leadership and conflict resolution
- Strong analytical skills for inventory management and process optimization
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures during winter months
- Valid Alaska driver's license
