About the Role:
As a Forklift Operator, you will be the backbone of our daily logistics. You will ensure products are moved safely and inventory is maintained accurately. This is a full-time position requiring a commitment to safety protocols and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in strict accordance with OSHA safety standards.
- Load and unload materials from trailers and trucks, verifying quantities against shipping documents.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including regular sweeping and organizing of aisles.
- Conduct pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections of all equipment.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock rotation and cycle counting.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately to management.
Qualifications
- Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and verification.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
