Responsibilities
- Operate various types of material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads for transport.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to 5S principles and safety protocols.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage inventory orders to meet customer deadlines.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (valid license/certification required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and stock management.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
