Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers, ensuring proper placement and organization.
- Inspect equipment daily for safety issues and report any mechanical problems immediately.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock management as required.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-compliant forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating heavy machinery (counterbalance, reach, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
- Basic computer skills for logging data.
