Responsibilities
- Operate powered industrial trucks (Forklifts) to move, stack, unstack, and position products in warehouses and storage areas.
- Perform daily pre-shift and post-shift inspections of forklifts to ensure mechanical safety and proper functioning.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, railcars, or conveyors, ensuring load balance and securement.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting cycle counts and documenting stock movements.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA 10/30 preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory tracking.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
